Sherri Tilley of The Flash List, Mary Frazier of Northwood University, Camille Umland of Uptown Consignment, Anika Cooper of Simply Grace, and Connie Dieb of Uptown Consignment & “Big Rich Texas” at the Simply Grace fundraiser shopping event
This past weekend at the “truly upscale resale boutique” Uptown Consignment, co-owners/sisters Connie Dieb and Camille Umland joined forces with the Style Network’s “Big Rich Texas” to host a shopping fundraiser for Simply Grace, a recovery residence for those who have completed drug and alcohol treatment programs. While enjoying hors d’oeuvres prepared by Connie from her upcoming cookbook, shoppers found steals on deals of designer digs from Chanel and Chloe to Oscar and Dior. Those looking for handbag heaven found three new, never-been-carried LVs. By the time party guests/shoppers finished with the three racks of brand new designer clothes (original price tags still on), the store looked like Target on the morning that Missoni hit the racks. But all for a good cause, as a portion of the proceeds went to Simply Grace…and “Big Rich Texas” grabbed a few scenes for next season. Stay tuned.
But shoppers don’t have to wait long to see the latest designer discounts going on at Uptown Consignment. Tax-Free Weekend starts tomorrow—take advantage of all the great wardrobe must-haves at under $100. Ladies, get your shop on!
